Family of Faith: Pre-K to 6th grade This is a family centered program that offers sessions for both parents and kids. We will typically meet twice per month; one week with parents and the second week with students only. Classes are held on Sundays from 11:15-12:20. There will be an Open House on Sept. 28th. Classes begin on October 5th.
Family of Faith Registration Sacramental Prep: Grade 2 The Archdiocese of Seattle has a 2 year preparation process for our children to prepare for the sacraments of penance and First Communion. Children age 7, are ready to begin this journey so, when your child is in the First grade, they should enroll in our Family of Faith program unless they are enrolled in a Catholic School . This begins their preparation process. In their 2nd grade year, they should enroll in Family of Faith and take part in our Family-At Home preparation for the Sacrament. Sacramental Prep Registration
Becoming Catholic - Children: Ages 8-16 OCIC stands for Order of Christian Initiation of Children. OCIC is the process whereby children ages 9 -13 may be initiated into and fully enter the Catholic Church. It is for non-Catholic children who have not completed their own sacraments of initiation. Youth Confirmation: 7th-12th grade Confirmation is the sacrament of initiation in which a baptized person receives special gifts of the Holy Spirit and is strengthened in grace. Students in grades 7-12 are invited to prepare for this sacrament. We will be meeting on select Tuesday evenings, and monthly Sunday afternoons. Our first class will be October 7th.
