ABOUT ME
I am a mother of four adult sons and a professed Secular Franciscan. I live a busy life as a full time caregiver, a minister of St. Frances Cabrini Fraternity, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I enjoy water aerobics and spending time with my friends. I pray the Morning and Evening Office, go to Adoration for an hour or more every week, and often attend daily Mass. I also enjoy reading Catholic novels and knitting for myself, my family and the less fortunate.
WHY I AM CATHOLIC
I am a cradle Catholic, but didn’t live out my faith in my twenties. After my first two sons were born and I was going through a divorce, I realized that I needed the graces and companionship of the Lord. I had been married outside of the Church and after a good Confession, I was able to return to the Eucharist. I choose to be a member of the one true Catholic Church because Jesus instituted the Church and the line of Popes began with Peter and can be traced to Pope Francis.
HOW I LIVE MY FAITH
I try to remember and live my life as Paul says in Galatians 2:20: “Christ is living in me. I still live my human life, but it is a life of faith in the Son of God, who loves me and gave himself for me.” I’m an intercessor and involved in prayer ministry, praying for all types of healing and situations. One of my great pleasures is to serve as an extraordinary Eucharistic minister in my parish. I go on at least one retreat every year and attend teachings and conference when the Lord leads me.
