The Holiday Basket Program has been in existence here at St. Charles for over 30 years! This is our opportunity to make a significant impact on local families who need support and assistance this holiday season.
We provide families from various schools and agencies in the area with a holiday meal, a week's worth of food, and toiletries. As the cost of living continues to rise, food assistance is needed now more than ever.
Due to the lack of space from our office fire in 2021,
this year we are only able to provide food baskets for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Due to lack of space, this year we will not collect any food and will accept monetary donations to purchase the needed items.

With your help, a local family will receive a Thanksgiving meal in honor or in memory of your loved one!
This is a wonderful way to honor someone special in your life while providing a holiday meal to someone who might not be able to afford it otherwise.
What you do:- Write a check for $75 (or more) payable to St. Charles Holiday Giving Program
- Complete the Memorial Meal Form, attach your check and drop it in the collection basket or bring it to the parish office.
What we will do:- Provide a local family with a Thanksgiving dinner in honor of or in memory of your loved one.
- Include a card with the delivered meal that indicates to the recipient that their meal is provided in memory or in honor of someone special with a Thanksgiving prayer.

For a family of 4-5 people, the average cost of all the food we provide is $150.
Any donation amount is greatly appreciated. Please make checks out to the St. Charles Holiday Basket Program.
