It's time to start cleaning those closets and collecting those treasures to donate to the annual St. Charles Rummage Sale benefiting the Shoes for the Children Program. The sale dates are August 1-3. The leadership of Associated Ministries' Interfaith Group is united for the good of the community and has decided to come together in service. St. Charles, Temple, the Islamic Center, and several other Christian Churches are asked to team up for a great cause this year.

Provided is the letter from Archbishop Etienne read on Divine Mercy weekend in regard to priest assignments beginning July 1 as the next steps in the Partners in the Gospel process. Also provided is a letter from Fr. Mike in response to the announcement.

Archbishop Paul D. Etienne and the Priest Personnel Board just released the Official Appointments, including pastors, parochial vicars and other assignments. This was after several months of consultation with priests, deacons, staff and parishioners from around the archdiocese. New assignments will go into effect July 1, 2024.

Dear Parishioners, Archbishop Etienne is inviting all parishioners to provide additional input or comment regarding the upcoming 2nd Synodal session. Fr. Legislators have been voting for bills on the floor, and all bills must pass out of their house of origin by Tuesday, February 13. Now is the time to urge legislators to pass bills out of the Senate and House. Additionally, committee hearings will resume on Ash Wednesday, February 14. We are forming small groups for 6 weeks of Lenten reflection this year. There are two options to choose from. First, Around the Lenten Circle, a sharing and reflection on the Sunday readings of Lent. Second, a book reflection on Ronald Rolheiser's, The Holy Longing, a book about spirituality. Click for more information.

After more than a year of careful planning and consultation, the final parish families were announced this weekend. These parish families will go into effect on July 1st under the leadership of a pastor and one or more parochial vicars. Pastors and parochial vicars will be announced this spring.

All couples are invited to celebrate their marriage on Saturday, February at the 5:00 PM Mass where we will have a special blessing and a reception to follow.
