It's that time again for Fr. Marc's Parish Family Zoom Book Club and the next read will be Clear by Carys Davies! Join the group every other Sunday starting Sunday, October 13 at 7PM for a meet and greet with an introduction to the plot, historical context and main conflicts and characters of the novel. You do not need to have any of the book read for this first gathering! Interested in joining? Sign up with Fr. Marc at frmarc@stcharlesb.org.
Did you know that our very own Fr. Michael is a carpenter? So it is no surprise that he would love to share that joy with our kids! For the first session of the St. Joseph Wood Shop, Fr. Michael worked with two of our lovely parishioners to build and paint their very own rocking chairs! Students in 6th grade and up are invited to join the next session starting September 30. Call the parish office to signup.

Fr. Marc is recording an audiobook of The Emptiness of Our Hands by Phyllis Cole-Dai. It is about her living 50 days (starting in Lent) on the streets of Ohio to be present to the homeless. Each chapter recording is complemented by music to help create an ambiance to bring you deeper into the story. It is the hope that this book will be the next focus of our growing dual-parish book study.
